Juneathon Day 16
Well well... more than half way into Juneathon... time sure flies!
Swimming clinic, finally, again! Stitch is off and I finally figured why I don't swim any better... so on to correcting those arms it is!
1200m swim that felt great! Loved the feeling the fins give you... boy, if I could only wear them at triathlons! LOL!
Juneathon Day 15
Running today! Maybe only 3kms... but hey! It is very hot over here but enduring as much as I can. I wonder why it is so hard for me at times...
Juneathon Days 8 to 14
Lots of walking and ST these days due to my elbow not a lot more could be done

Juneathon Day 7
I know, the titles of my posts are boring but... they do keep me on track!
I have to say today has been a bit of a marathon day... I am exhausted. It is 11:28pm and as soon as I'm done writing this post, I'm off to bed!
Got up at 6, got everything ready, woke my daughter up, did her hair and off we went to Rubí, near Barcelona. She was competing in the final (gymnastics) which she qualified for. It was her worse competition to date but hey, she got better with each piece of apparatus. She got 3rd on the floor, so it was nice!
We left, taking her team mate with us. We were held in traffic. It was very hot.
Finally get home to get my youngest ready for his hockey game. Off I went.
Came back and left for Celrà to cover the last kms of Alexandra Panayotou's 400km nonstop run challenge, Running4Her... it was amazing... she's pure inspiration, pure motivation and pure positiveness... So much to admire! So proud to have been able to do those last kms with her! What an experience.
And now it's off to bed... another hockey game tomorrow and after, celebrating my dad's 77th birthday (on Monday!)

Juneathon Day 6
6 days into Juneathon. Weather's gorgeous over here. And yet again, a few kms with Alex and today with my 11 year old Paula. We met her and ran 5,4km with her. Always a pleasure! She's already covered 280 of her 400km challenge... "only" 120 to go! What a star! I will be joining her again tomorrow! I just can't wait!
Juneathon Day 5
And it was running today! Yay! The Greek Ultrarunner Alexandra Panayotou is doing what she says is going to be her last challenge... a 400km solo, nonstop run. She started from Girona on Weds at 5pm and will finish Saturday, in Girona again, at around 8pm. I got to run with her at the start and also meet her on Thursday to run 11kms with her... it's been amazing! Tomorrow Friday, I will go meet her again, with my 11 year old daughter to share a few more kms with her!
No ST today. After my fall at the pool and having 1 stitch on my elbow, all planks and push ups and dips are out of the question. Leg work is in order!

Juneathon Day 4 Part III (and last)
And it was time for swimming... awesome course, learning lots. Coach really makes sure we get it right! I am loving it! He swam with us so he could correct us... really great!
Bad news... when going to get the stuff from the locker, I slipt and fell on my elbow and I had to get a stitch... oh dear... I so wanted to swim this week... but oh well... I'll have to find an alternative... also, no push ups... my elbow hurts a lot... guess it's time to do leg work!
